Fiesta Agave Garland

Whether you’re dressing up your space for a garden party, birthday or simply to celebrate being alive, these custom garlands are here to get the fiesta started. Every piece is individually made by a family of master artists from Mexican agave. The material is harvested and processed by hand, using the same methods that were in place in Mesoamerican times. They can be hung over a doorway, fireplace, on a holiday tree, or joined together to grace a wedding hall. These year-round lovelies are fully biodegradable, plant-based and can be reused year after year.

Artisans
This talented family collaborate in their home workshop as three generations. Their intricate works have garnered awards and attention throughout the country. Not only are they vegan and earth friendly, they also support sustainable harvesting practices, celebrate and preserve indigenous creative culture, and help to provide an ongoing stream of income for this dedicated group of creative makers.

Care
These pieces are lightweight and and do not contain synthetic materials of any kind. Given this, they will naturally break down over time, if they’re exposed to the elements outdoors. To clean the dust from these pieces, simply shake them vigorously outside, or they can also be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth, if need be. Do not submerge these pieces in water or pull roughly on the piece, or the fringe may fall out.
